My mother and father taught me the meaning of hard work and honest living. Polie, my father taught me the importance of public service. Growing up in Dallas, I learned the love of family, the power of prayer, the value of a dollar, and the importance of public service. I put those values to work, and throughout my life I strived to be a productive member of our community through service to it. As your Sheriff I serve you with the promise to protect your family and our county by ensuring that your Sheriff's Office is run professionally and efficiently. That's my promise to the people of Gaston County. You know me, you know my family and you know my values. This fall, whether you cast your ballot early or on Election Day, I ask for your vote.
